Share the love of Panettone

With Valentines Day been and gone, why not carry on some extra love in your life? A love for food that you can share with those you love the most.

Panettone, is a symbol of celebration, love and togetherness in Italian culture. A delight in taste and moments shared with friends and family. We're here to bring you these moments year round. In 2023 we want to bring you new flavours, new experiences and baking that is here to nourish both your body and your mind. Committed to using traditional techniques, organic, high quality ingredients sourced locally from NZ farmers and handcrafting sourdough baked goods that support the wellness of us and the land. 

To start, we would like to introduce you to our newest flavour infusion, Panettone Moro. The Italian word 'Moro' translates to dark, in colour and appearance. To create this in our panettone, we have used a combination of Belgian dark chocolate and deeply pigmented cherries.

After the first dough of the panettone has fermented over night, the second round dough is with blended 95% cocoa Lindt chocolate, creating a rich and silky dark chocolate base. It is then recalibrated with golden syrup to rebalance the sugars. This is due to the bitter nature of pure cocoa. The dough is then loaded with homemade candied cherries and another kiss of Belgian chocolate. Panettone Moro then completes it's 12 hour upside-down rest allowing the flavours to settle into every morsel. Finally to create darker red colour reminiscent of love and Valentine's, the finished Panettone is injected with finely aged Port Wine.

Panettone Moro is a deep indulgence made for idle moments in your day when you can sit back, relax and enjoy the taste of luxury. Whether this be with those you love, or to show yourself some love with a taste of tradition and naturally handcrafted baking. It is made for the celebration of the love in our life.
